Ramesh Raskar: A camera that takes one trillion frames per second

by TED.com

Published 2012

Ramesh Raskar presents femto-photography, a new type of imaging so fast it shows the world one trillion frames per second, so detailed it shows light itself in motion. This technology may someday be used to build cameras that can look “around” corners or see inside the body without X-rays.

Subject: Text me when the thing exists, please.
Nice video of a man describing an invention not yet invented. See 5:22 for the quick explanation of how it does not exist yet so a movie was made using still frame photos to show what it will look like.
If I could control a one atom thick sheet of supercooled plasma I could split virtual particles. But I will not show a Moray cartoon of the resulting split and say I had done it.
